Story of a Bronze - 2
A Rubber Moulding is Made
We use a very high quality two-part silicon polymer, the original pattern is covered and with careful planning is designed to be split apart when the rubber is set. Different grades and types of rubber may be used to suit the original material being copied. This then forms the master for as many copies as may be needed. Great care must be taken to copy the tiniest details and to avoid air bubbles.
